Jeffrey O'Donnell Joins BioSig Technologies' Board of Directors

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 12/14/11 -- BioSig Technologies, Inc, a medical device company developing superior clinical solutions for diagnoses and treatments of abnormal heart rhythms, today announced that Jeffrey O'Donnell has joined the Company's Board of Directors.

Jeffrey O'Donnell commented, "I look forward to assisting the BioSig team develop a new standard of care with their game changing technology platform." Mr. O'Donnell brings 28 years of experience in the healthcare industry in sales, marketing and management. Currently, Mr. O'Donnell is a Venture Partner of Biostar Ventures, a venture capital firm investing primarily in early stage medical device companies. Previously he was the CEO of Embrella Cardiovascular sold to Edwards Life Sciences earlier this year. Mr. O'Donnell has been the CEO of six medical device companies and held several senior management positions at Boston Scientific, Guidant Corporation and Johnson & Johnson.

In 2011 Mr. O'Donnell was named Greater Philadelphia Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young and in 2005 he was named Life Science CEO of the year by Eastern Technology Council.
