BioSig Recaps Successful Participation at 40th Annual Heart Rhythm Scientific Sessions

“It was a jaw-dropper!”

We recently attended the 40th Annual Heart Rhythm Scientific Sessions, which took place in San Francisco, CA, on May 8-11, 2019.  The event served as a showcase for our PURE EP™ System, which we believe is a much-needed medical technology product that can address a significant unmet need in electrophysiology. Moreover, the event allowed us to learn from leading medical experts about all that is going on in the field - from new techniques to latest scientific breakthroughs, research and data. The event brought together leading scientists, doctors, researchers, and more to share information to leap forward with new medical and technological advancements.

The Heart Rhythm Society needs no introduction, but for those that are unfamiliar, they are a leading global resource on cardiac pacing and electrophysiology. This specialty organization represents medical, allied health, and science professionals from more than 70 countries that specialize in cardiac rhythm disorders.

BioSig was represented by myself, our executive leadership and Board of Directors. Some of the highlights include:

  • Recap of the first clinical experiences with Andrea Natale, M.D. from Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute, John M, Miller, M.D. from Indiana University School of Medicine and Andrew Brenyo, M.D. from Greenville Memorial Hospital, SC
  • PURE EP™ System’s on-site demonstrations, viewed by some of the industry’s most renowned doctors, researchers and hospital administrators.
  • Excellent discussions with the extended clinical and business development teams from Mayo Clinic.
  • 1-on-1 meetings with leading investment firms and medtech analysts from Jefferies, JMP Securities, Chardan Capital Markets, amongst others.

We were thrilled with the feedback that our PURE EP™ System received from everyone who attended its demonstrations and look forward to expanding our clinical collaborations in the coming months. This event came at the right time for us: we appointed a best-in-class commercial leader, added outstanding engineering talent, solidified our Advisory Board and learned that our latest manuscript has been accepted by the world’s largest association of engineering professionals.

It is an exciting time for BioSig, and we thank all our employees, our loyal shareholders and our outstanding Board and advisors for starting this new chapter with us.

Kind regards,
